About our school

Ofsted judged this as an outstanding community primary school for boys and girls up to the age of eleven. Up to 30 reception children are admitted each academic year. Parents wishing to enter children after the reception year should contact the headteacher.

The children are encouraged to participate in the many and varied opportunities which will be offered throughout the school year. Our teaching staff are fully committed to assisting your child to reach their full potential through the National Curriculum and our Creative Curriculum. We also believe our school will offer your child many differing experiences they are unlikely to meet elsewhere.

Over the years our school has received awards for:

  • Healthy Schools Award
  • Basic Skills Award
  • Activemark
  • School Improvement Award
  • Chief Constables citizenship Award

We have a Leading Aspect Award for our support work through our Family Action Team.
