We are officially recognised as a Music Mark School for 2025-2026!

This means we show music excellence in the following ways:

  • We teach music weekly.
  • We offer whole class music tuition from the Gloucestershire Music Hub.
  • We have visiting music teachers for children who wish to continue learning after the whole class teaching.
  • We celebrate music daily through our Music Appreciation at the end of the day and in assemblies.
  • We use music throughout the curriculum to help embed other knowledge e.g. songs in History / Spag / Geography etc.
  • Advocate for the importance of music education in the curriculum and creative life of our school
  • Provide an equitable, diverse and inclusive music education for every young person
  • Welcome opportunities to broaden our musical horizons by working with providers in our community and beyond

Well done to our Young Voices choir who went to Brunswick Nursing home and Park View Nursing home to sing carols and songs to the residents.

Year 5 are progressing well with their Brass instrument music lessons.

Our Year 6 class performed and sang in their Grease production!
