Visit from Hash from Gloucester Feed the Hungry
As part of World Kindness Day and Anti-bullying week, Hash from Gloucester Feed the Hungry came to visit us and held an assembly about how we can support our local community and vulnerable people. He also held a meeting with our School Council to discuss what we can do this Christmas to support our community.
Reception fun on ‘Feel Good Friday’ focusing on Sleep and Being Calm! We listened to the story of ‘Can’t you sleep little bear?’ and thought of ways to help him get to sleep. Then we made night time paintings like Van Gogh and made dream catchers. We did a calm me meditation and some yoga too.
Pupils have been learning about making healthy choices in cookery club!
Year 6 have had a very moving and thought provoking morning visiting the Knife Angel at Gloucester Cathedral. This included a special talk led by Hollie Gazzard’s Dad, Nicholas. #KnifeAngel #ProudToBeAHiller #PREACHvalues
To mark Anti-Bullying week the children wore odd socks to school!
