Religious Education at Coney Hill
We aim for our children to explore what people believe and what difference this makes to how they live, so that pupils can gain the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to handle questions raised by religion, belief and cause them to reflect on their own ideas and ways of living; both now and in the future. We want our children to learn about religions and worldviews so that they can be respectful, informed and inquisitive. Our community school ethos, values, nurture provision, assemblies, alongside our weekly R.E. lessons, help to support our children’s personal development; celebrating the diversity of the wider community in Gloucester, including beliefs, traditions, culture, language and history
