Hiller Graduates
Hiller Graduates leave us in year 6, but are on a journey of learning with us, throughout their time at Coney Hill.
Our evolving curriculum has "Graduate documents" written for History, Science, Computing, Geography and PSHE: The Hiller Historian, The Hiller Scientist; The Hiller Computer Scientist, The Hiller Geographer and The Hiller Citizen. Copies of these will soon be available on those subject pages.
Rooted in the National Curriculum, we are writing our Graduate documents, with the crucial starting points in Reception and ending with Year 6 Hillers, ensuring progression in knowledge, skills, vocabulary, cultural capital opportunities, to name but a few areas.
Through their learning, wider experiences, nurture and place in our Hiller community, our “Hiller Graduates” will:
- Have knowledge of the wider world.
- Have a range of transferable skills they can take with them into their next stage.
- Be resilient, independent thinkers – able to investigate and question.
- Be respectful and tolerant of difference.
- Be responsible and have a sense of moral purpose and their place in the world.
