School Meals

School meals are provided by Caterlink. Children have a choice of a hot meal, a vegetarian hot meal, jacket potatos, sandwiches, a salad bar, yoghurt with fruit and pudding - there is also water to drink.

Dinner money for the week is due in advance and can be paid via Parentpay. The cost of a meal is currently £2.71.

Applications for free school meals are available from the school office or click on the link below - more information is available at Free school meals - have you applied? | Gloucestershire County Council

Children having free meals are treated in exactly the same way as those paying.

Cookery demonstration

Our catering team demonstrated pizza dough making to the year 5 class as part of their 'Junior come dine with me' theme.

Keep hydrated

Here is our new lunchtime 'fruit infused water station' that the children can help themselves to.

Packed lunches

At school we promote healthy food choices and lifestyles and encourage our packed lunches to reflect this too, this includes choosing healthy options and being mindful of portion size.

A ‘healthy lunchbox’ may include:

  • A small sandwich, wrap or roll (ideally on wholemeal bread) filled with a protein (cheese or ham) or a small pasta salad

  • A protein snack (a yogurt, cheese slices)

  • Two portions of fruit or vegetables (veggie sticks, dried fruit)

  • An additional sweet or savory snack (cereal bar or biscuits)

  • A drink (water, milk, sugar free squash or smoothies)

Please don't send in chocolate bars, sweets and fizzy sugary drinks.

We are also a NUT FREE school so please NO foods that contain nuts.
