At Pets As Therapy, our work is all about creating everyday moments of magic. We partner with schools, hospitals, care homes and community groups to bring the comfort, companionship and joy of a therapy pet visit to those who need it most. We are very lucky to welcome David, and his dog 'Bailey' into our school!

We consult with our young people to discover their challenges and identify ways in which we can support them to achieve and be successful in all areas of school life. We use a familiar document called a 'My profile', which is universally recognised by other professionals. Children with EHCP's attend Annual Reviews. It is important to discuss My Plan interventions openly, and listen to the opinions of children and how they think they're doing; this takes place informally during each intervention and more formally at the end of a programme/term.

Young Minds Matter (YMM) Gloucestershire

We encourage parents to talk openly with us about the SEND provision for children at our school; this helps us maintain good communication, standards and expectations.

Parents can share views and ask questions by emailing the SENDCo (tsetchell@coneyhill.gloucs.sch.uk) or the Headteacher (head@coneyhill.gloucs.sch.uk), who will endeavour to provide answers as quickly as possible. Face-to-face meetings can be arranged. Our Complaints policy can be found on the policy section of our website.
