Ofsted Parent View
Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of our school, including:
- how happy your child is at school
- how school manages bullying or challenging behaviour
If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), they will ask how well our school supports them.
The questionnaire can be completed at any time - you don’t have to wait until our school is being inspected. Ofsted will use your responses to help them plan inspections.
The information you provide can:
- inform discussions inspectors have with our school leaders during an inspection
- help Ofsted decide when to inspect a school
In addition to this, Ofsted also publish the overall summary of the responses to Ofsted Parent View. This information is anonymised.

'You really should be proud of all of your achievements'
Dear Dani & whole school team,
I just wanted to touch base with you and thank you for all of the support, you and your team have given my child, over the last 7 years. Our experience of Coney Hill and the community spirt has been felt throughout our child's time at the school, the warmth and treating each child as an individual, has most definitely helped shape our daughter into the confident young lady that she is today.
The secretaries Lyn and Kat have been brilliant, whenever we have had queries and I know they often go unnoticed, (like part of the woodwork) but they certainly have been wonderful assets over the years.
I know my child will cry when it is time for her to leave today and I know she will have cherished memories of her time at Coney Hill, we know that with your whole team guidance she is ready for her next adventure at Barnwood Park.
When you finally have your next Ofsted inspection, I would love it if you could share my comments of what a wonderful school Coney Hill is and how it has most definitely met the needs of our daughter and really deserves to remain an Outstanding school. Communication has been great and you have shared your vision of the school and created a wonderful ethos throughout her time with you. Moreover when met with the challenge of covid, you kept all of the children's education going throughout and you really should be proud of all of your achievements.
As a family we wish you well in the future and hope the school has continued success!

It was very informative evern though I've been through it there was things I didn't know, Mrs setchell you are definitely fulfilling your destiny, you are amazing with all the children and do so much for them all. You being the school Senco is the best thing that has came out of covid, even during covid you were always on hand with help and advice - much appreciated. You are all a credit to the school - every single one of you . My child loves the school and I wouldn't change it for the world; its going to be extremely difficult for him when it comes for him to leave. Coney Hill is the best school! Thankyou for everything.'

'I just wanted to say what a great term my child has had, she struggled to jump back into school life initially with a new teacher and so much change happening at home. But as a school you were swift in your response to her emotional needs at that time and she had an incredible turn around, we are very proud of who she’s becoming and Coney hill school has been a big part of that. 'I just want to write this quick email to say once again how the school has shown how amazing the school staff are. They go above and beyond to help, Mrs Setchell, thankyou for everything you have done over these first few weeks of school and thankyou so much for taking my child swimming, I've never seen him so happy and excited over anything . Miss stanley is fab and my child really listens to what she says. The staff and adults supporting my child at school really do have his best interests at heart. I trust you all 100 percent with my child. He comes home telling me all about school and how he is enjoying his new class. He has a positive attitude over things, as says "I can do anything I want to do as long as I try hard ". So I want to thank you all for everything you have done for my child this year and in previous years. You are all amazing. Thankyou.'
